Spencer is a second-year PhD student studying soft tissue biomechanics with research investigating lubrication mechanisms in articular cartilage.
Personal
Spencer is from Draper, UT and attended Brigham Young University (BYU) where he received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. He became interested in biomechanics during his senior year and is looking forward to researching more in the biomedical field. In his free time, he enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, camping, biking, and snowboarding.
