Darvin Griffin published an article in the Journal of Biomechanics on the mechanics of MACI® grafts. This paper used a multi-modal analysis of the mechanical performance of cartilage grafts in horses. The results showed important differences in the recovery of compressive, shear, and frictional properties in repaired tissue.
